Tana Green, Assoc. AIA, is a Lead Consultant in Product Strategy and Experience Design, working from Seattle. Her first decade was spent in architecture — museum exhibitions and commercial interiors with firms including Ralph Appelbaum Associates and Thinc, on projects such as the National WWI Museum, the 9/11 Memorial Museum, and the First Americans Museum.
In the sixteen years since, she has led UX strategy, product design, accessibility practice, and delivery in digital — through agencies and consultancies including Razorfish, Digitas, C&G Partners, Filter, IQVIA, and AIM Consulting, for clients including American Express, T-Mobile, Microsoft, Starbucks, Nintendo, TC Energy, and 3M. Her sector concentration is healthcare and life sciences, financial services, telecommunications, energy, and cultural institutions.
Both halves answer the same question: how does a person find their way through something they did not design? A gallery sequence and a claims workflow fail for the same reasons — unclear entry, no orientation, no recovery from a wrong turn. That throughline is why accessibility sits at the front of her practice rather than at the end of it.
Her work has regularly reached national and global scales: design systems, enterprise platforms, mobile applications, and consumer experiences serving millions of users worldwide. One product she designed supports citizen participation in democratic processes across 40 sovereign nations with a combined population of 2.4 billion people.
